G'day lads and lasses was chasing some advice, a few guys from work were thinking about cruising down from Orange to the Motogp this year. I would like to camp for the weekend, was wondering what was the best place to watch the race from, I suppose a seat would be good but Im easily pleased. Anybody know a good spot maybe a few different prices as well ? thanks in advance for any feed back, Cheers NITRUSS

been down there the last 4 years and has become my annual pilgrimage .. wish i had started earlier .

every year i buy a grandstand seat on the straight opposite the start/finish .. and every year i still end up somewhere between turn 1 and 5 watching the actual GP .... you can spend an entire day walking around the track once - stopping every turn to watch the action for a while.

I do recommend buying a seat (or arriving early to put a fold up chair near the fence line) ... my choice would be the straight near start/finish , turn 2 or turn 4 . Just dont expect spending the entire time there.

cant tell you the prices .

maybe the 2011 site is still up and will give you an idea ?

    enjoy

    enjoy !

We have been going down there for 20 yrs, and watched from all of the above positions and all are fantastic, Corporate passes are great as well especially if the weather is bad. (a tad expesive though)

I would add anywhere where you can see a giant screen so you can watch the front runners as well.
