Try these http://www.safetyoptics.com.au/subcatDisplay/Goggles/Medium+Impact I used the ODDIE, cost me $58.00 busk, thats with the dark tint lens inserts (Still Medium Impact), arms and strap. The foam insert and strap remove in about 5 second and you vlip the arms on and have a pair of sunnies to boot.

Just an update to this topic.
My brother in law had a pair of Ugly Fish that he said I could try. I went out the other day and tried them and today in the freezing cold I tried them again before I made a decision as to the effectiveness of them.
    In a word "Brilliant!"
No longer do my eyes water. I did nearly 300 km today and I got home and my eyes were fine. Vision was not impaired and in fact was way better than it has been whilst riding.
The only down side was that they did fog when stopped but that was because the warm air from the face mask I was wearing was being redirected up to the glasses. Once the weather warmed up the fogging went away.
It was cold I can tell you. Now if I can only find my nuts!
Thanks every one for your help.

Wait there SG my go. Newcastle kawasaki has the new nolan your talking about. I seen it there 3 weeks ago. Has a flip front with two visors. they only had one and it was silver. Check it out next time your in town. The shark evoline is the only flip front  thats legal to wear while it is open. Read it somewhere. Thats the one i want but i may have your trouble with the big Cheeks.

Got hit in the eye once by a bug "I guess" lucky that the bend I was on had a big paddock to ride into while I was screaming with one hand on my punched out eye just trying to keep the bike upright & straight.

At the moment I use a Nolan helmet with a flip up front half that I flip up when in town doing under 60 or so, full face when I don't want my face draggin on the ground.

Use a normal open face helmet in town when I'm just riding around & just doing town speeds.

On my bicycle I use a bit of thin plastic covered styrene, its certified & I can get up around the 70' on down hills in the mountains so fuck knows what its certified for. And it cost more than my certified open face helmet.

I haven't found the perfect combination yet . I bought both the open face and full face harley Helmets when I bought my bike.

Around town the open face is good with glasses. I bought some ":Harley" brand glasses from ebay (safety glasses, are listed as Road King style) and find they keep out most of the wind. The open face helmet gives for good allround vision where as the full face restricts a lot of vision. Out on the highway the open face catches a lot of the wind and anything above about 110 ks I feel as the wind wants to rip my head off. I end up with a sore neck after a short while ( not very streamlined) The open face came with a detachable flipup visor which looks stupid, but I am finding it does feel more comfortable. I am using it more often and stuff what it looks like.

Winter time I am using a full facemask with the glasses and the open face helmet. The glasses will fog up when stopped say at traffic lights or give ways. A real pain in the arse.

I have a pair of goggles with foam around them (they are safety glasses also, saw them recommended here on this site a while ago. about $15- $20 Bolle Tracker Safety Goggles) They are comfortable, keep out the wind great while moving but as soon as you stop they fog up. Bought them at a safety shop. I also bought another pair from ebay.

If anyone is interrested heres a link

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190548866828&ssPageName=ADME:L<> src=

"Also I get a lot of wind noise with the open face helmet so I ride with earplugs when on the highway.

Now the full face helmet I don't use very often although on the highway I don't get as much neckstrain as the open face but it is heavy and the vision is very restricted.

Ultimately I would like a open face helmet that is streamlined to reduce the neck strain. I would wear the open face all the time with glasses, face mask if I could get the right helmet.......................

I am past worrying about what it looks like. It is what feels comfortable.

Years ago I went on a big trip. I got hit in the eye with an insect and for about a week my eye was swollen shut. I real bastard trying to ride with one eye.........
