    Hey guys and gals,

Anybody know the cheapest place to buy Performance Machine rims? Especially in Sydney.

So far i need to take out a home loan to put rims on my bike at $1600 a wheel x 2 + tyres $600 + rotors $700 + pulley $400 i'm looking at nearly $5K which, to me, is close enough to bending over.

Is there any other way of doing this cheaper?

    Thanks.

Thanks bud, that's not a bad idea.

    Cheers, Jason.

You wont get cheap PM wheels in Australia unless they ar second hand.

Try M&M cycles or J&P Cycles in the USA

Yeah i've pretty much realised that hey.

The genuine HD wheels ("COMPETITIVELY PRICED!") that i want are $1300 each too plus bearings and fitting. Looks like i'm up for over $3k no matter which way i go!!!

Thanks for the other sites though. I'll check em' out. Shipping from the US can be a killer though.

Plus there is no second hand market for wheels to fit a Blackline.

I'm thinking the stock rims will be staying on a while longer!!!

Still pretty dear for what i'm looking for.

Just want something to break up all the black.

I'm thinking of keeping the stock wheels and maybe going white walls???

    Not too sure hey!

    Thanks champ!

They are heaps nice wheels but i don't want to put 19's on the front i want to stick with the 21's but they don't offer 21's.

The rear is also a 3.5 wide and i'm not sure if it'd fit without changing the rear guard. I don't want a softail rear. I love the rear guard on the Blackline.

Thanks for the link. At least i know if i'm patient i might find a good deal.

We should tee up a meet and a ride sometime in the future? We'll get the Blackline's out for a few hours and go for a cruise.

Yeah i have seen that video.

If you read the text though he had the rear guard rolled.

If you measure our rear guard you will fit a 3.5 (160mm) in with about 3mm either side. Too close i think???

    Yep, Wheels are wheely expensive.

I have alloy wheels on the 2006 dyna and am thinking of getting them highly polished rather than forking out for new ones.

Might still repaint the black section for some contrast???

Just ordered some progressive suspension for front and rear so might be a good time to have a go.

    Ride Safe

It's gonna be costly whatever way i go.
I'm thinking 160mm wheel with a 160 - 170 tyre. That way i don't have to change the rear guard or struts.
Two of my mates have softail standards and riding with them the other day the 200mm ass end looks tough as and i changed my view on the 140mm.
I just want that little bit wider than 140mm without all the guard and strut changing. A 160 will fit easy. A 170 is pushing it...
