Thought I would post some figures up on my recent mods on bike.

2009 FXST with S & S slipons and screaming eagle air filter

72.9HP Max at between 4700rpm and 5200rpm and 90NM torque

Replaced slipons with D & D Lowcats 583 S & S easy start cams and heads ported

81.6HP Max between 4555rpm and 5203rpm and 100NM torque

Increase of over 10% which I am happy with.

Both Dyno runs were done by same bloke on same Dyno, bike now pulls a lot harder.

When I get a chance I will put up Dyno chart but wont be for a few weeks.

Have you looked at the Dyno results in the S&S 4 step mods.

No. Happy with what i got.  Dynos differ from here to there, but I am happy with a genuine 10% increase.

good gain Robbo, i'm trying to remeber what calculation to conver NM Torque to Ft Pound Torque? i always get HP & Ft pounds, normaly if it's metric the power will be in KW. but no matter as your gain is on the same dyno . are thgey easy start cams?

Hey Krash.I was just looking at my 96ci dyno sheet,And my HP/TQ numbers were same as Robbos with the S&S slipons and SE filter,But my TQ was in ft/lb.

Put the easy start 551 in mine.

Happy with the results

fitted 585 heaps an donee the heads but put a set 10.5 ;1 slugs in too bigger range an 19% gain im still not sure about the easystart cams had to replace a set not long after they come out as one shit itself an done bit damage to lifter an rocker gear but hope ya enjoy the extra blurt outta the bike
