Hi there, I was wondering what peoples favourite biker type movies are, and what to recommend to watch.

I bought the Easy Rider Dvd the other day, and was kinda let down after watching it.  In my Opinion it was kinda wierd and a bit hard to follow, the ending was totally unexpected and finished very abruptly.

I have seen Wild Hogs, and the two Clint Eastwood movies, "Every which way but loose", and "Any which way you can", and thought that they were funny.  A friend recommended "Stone", "Wraith", and "Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man", these ones I haven't seen yet.

I have the SOA tv series 1-4 at the moment, and can't wait till season 5 comes out.  I am looking forward to watching the "Brothers in Arms" series when it airs next week, which will be recorded straight to my PS3.

Anyways, feel free to share your favourite movies etc here, cheers.

The Original Wild One with Marlon Brando (Black Rebels MC), Lee Marvin (Beetles MC)

Mind you I've always liked Eric Von Zipper (The Rats MC) in the Beach Party Movies.

    Cool pics.

Two Aussie ones i like (would like to have a copy of, but dont) Naturally Free (kind of the Aussie version of 'On any Sunday" - another great movie) and Side car racers
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073709/

'Stone', Aussie classic....'Easy rider' is actually a good movie, but its more a commentary on the USA of the 1960's......'HA's forever' is good, i love the East coast style of 70's bikes - no rake and long front ends. .........good music too.

Agree with World's Fastest Indian and also On any Sunday, though not really a biker movie, but I used to ride motocross and enduros and loved the movie when it came out.

Agree with most of the oldies above. Some newer ones: Choppertown the Sinners and the Harbour Town Bobber by One World Studios are worth a watch or two. Don't bother with their third movie Brit Town. Its crap. Hell Ride is worth a watch as well. TC

Hellride. Black Rain (first time I saw an XLCR, wow) HD and the Marlboro man. Stone. Easyrider.

If you google bike movies, you will be amazed at how many there are.One of the aussie mags did a list of some of the not so bad ones, will have a look for it.

Note: I didnt say there were many good ones amongst em. Hahaha

I dont know, must of been my age at the time, but I still rekon Easy Rider is one of the best movies I've seen, considering the budget and everyone in it was out of it at the time, (Gees I miss those times) and Bronson was good too.

Tim, Easy Rider starred Jack Nicholson, Peter Fonda, and Dennis Hopper. Don't think Charles Bronson is in it.

06 Softail, as indicated above, Stone is a good movie and I remember my mates and I riding our bikes to the drive-in to see it about 1974. (I owned a Norton at the time.)

Three American movies with some sharp-looking Harleys in them are Hell's Angels '69 (aka Hell's Angels 690), Hell's Angels on Wheels and The Wild Angels.

     Mr Speed Big twin,

If Wikipedia says that Lee Marvins group was called the beetles and it's in colour it must be true.

    regards
