After 3 long months of waiting the big day arrived today for my 2011 XLC...my RB LSR 2-1 was here, lots of excitment opening up the box sorting thru all the bits, time to put it on!!......but it don't fit. The forward control is in the way,shit.....lots of horror stories about ringing RB to be told "not our problem"got to put on my thinking cap....any suggestions?....great looking system, maybe I can mount it over the fireplace!
Thanks Terrisstone, can you point me in the direction of those extended foot controls, the other option I suppose is getting something fabricated to go around the pipe. other XLC I have looked at with the same RB exhaust seem to have the front pipe further forward....my front header pipe comes straight doen in front of the foot control. I'm gonna ring RB and find out if they have a solution. maybe I'm missing something.....we live and learn
After many curses.....and cups of tea.......no drugs or alcohol......I finally figured it out.........apologies to RB......all it took was some filing down of the forward controls! got it all on and........... F%#k wouldn't you know it I forgot to replace the crush washers on the O2 sensors!.....off it comes again....course I'm gettin good at this......moral of the story....don't take shortcuts.......and have lots of drugs and alcohol available....oh! by the way they are loud, the pipes I mean.......shit is that a cop!!....Hey officer I'm saving lives!
PS......when I figure out how to post friggin photos I'll give ya'll a report and pics........back to the Mancave!!
Here's a link (on this site, go to forum how to's, there's other stuff too that's handy) to figure out photo posting, you'll need to set up Photobucket (pretty easy) and you're set. Photo's are always good.

Perhaps if you have time you could measure clearance to the ground of the pipe and top of rear shock eye bolt length to give an idea of clearance.
I've been looking at these pipes too and the D&D bobcat....
Cheers
