"Battery Fighter Junior" is the one fitted as standard by Frasers to ALL newly delivered Harleys here in Perth WA .

I have been using them myself since 2000 .

Never had a drama, and I've put them on 10 bikes/vehicles since 2000.

They come with plug on crocodile clip setup as well as the "hard wiring" setup for one vehicle .

The plugable crocodile clip setup is good for boats/jetskis whatever else you have in the shed.

I bought one just yesterday from Supercheap Auto for $59.98

Just remember to check your electrolyte levels regularly, especially if you plan to leave the bike on the charger for long periods.

Easy to fry your battery if you're not carefull!

Have a C Tek & OZ Charge which came from the Harley Dealer.

Both as good as each other but the Oz Charge was about half the price.

Mate i'd buy one of these:

    www.ebay.com.au/itm/CTEK-MXS-5-0-BATTERY-CHARGER-12-VOLT-12V-5A-5-AMP-REPLACES-XS4003-DEEP-CYCLE-AGM-/300695210728

It's the C-tek brand, works at either 0.8 or 5 amp, so will handle bike to car battery no worries.  Has a function that helps to desulfate crappy batteries, and is designed for AGM types, my bike has one not sure if all Harley's do though, yours would be easy enough to check (owner manual or battery check I guess)  No electrolyte to worry about so that's a good thing.

5 year warranty etc what else could you need.  Check out he C-tek website for more info on other options they have.

    www.ctek.nu/au/en/chargers/12v

My bike came with a lead from the dealer for one of their chargers they sell but this unit comes with hard wiring and bulldog clips for other batteries.

I know of the brand having used them for 4wd high amp sealed batteries and they good units, remember you pay for what you get.

    Cheers!

The CTEK chargers are the go . They do a low amp motorcycle specific charger (that will still do a car battery as well ) . Their chargers condition (go up and down in stages ) , not just charge . Aussie distributer same price shipped as in the stores . Cheers , Tim.

     Hi there

Battery Fighter - the larger unit retails for around $60.00 and I have two. Simple to use with leds indicating level of charge. Microprocessor defaults to float mode when the the battery is fully charged so no over-charging occurs. Well made sturdy units. Got mine of an Aussie distributor on eBay.

    Cheers

"Battery Fighter Junior" is the one fitted as standard by Frasers to ALL newly delivered Harleys here in Newy too. Mine has performed faultlessly for the last 3 years. Just plug it in either when you know you wont be able to ride or if the bike has not been ridden for a couple of weeks.

I just brought a HD one from Peter Stevens , came with pigtails too , so I've hooked them up and made it so I can charge the battery without having to remove covers or the seat. Not sure if I did it right but seems to be working ok for now :)

Yeah I've got the same Ctek charger, the MXS 5.0.  Have permo fitted the bike attachment and now couldn't be easier to connect up.  Works like a charm!
