Has anyone in here put custom chrome wheels on a Blackline yet?

16 x 3 in the rear is hard to find custom wheels for a softail. 16 x 3.5 seems to be the starting point.

Has anyone tried to fit a 16 x 3.5 under the standard guard on a Blackline?

Any comments would be appreciated.

What rims you thinking of?  I like some of the black and chome ones but think they cost too much. So IVe ordered harley 6spoke black n matt chrome.

I asked the dealer i purchased from - Trivetts and they didn't know...

I asked the dealer i service with - Frasers and they didn't know...

I rang Chopperworks in QLD and they said "Yeah it should be ok..." which isn't enough reassurance for me yet.

I need to find someone who has done it already. My measurements show about 2-3mm clearance either side of the guard which is bloody close.

Did you go for a 160 or standard 140 rear?

Cool as. You stuck with the 140.

It looks good though mate. The spokes are ok but they start rusting too quick. Already had trouble with mine and my bike has never seen rain or water.

How much did the wheels end up costing you after changing tyres over etc? That is, if you don't mind me asking bud.

It's nice to see that there is other people on the forum close by with Blacklines.
