Hey, I've been lurking around this site, and chopcult.com for a while, sorting out my finances to get myself a new toy.....

I'm living in East Brunswick in Melbourne, moved here about a year ago from Perth, I work FIFO in the Pilbara still, building gold process plants, I sold my Pontiac Parisienne before moving to Victoria, and I've been toy-less for a while, it's deffinately going to be a Harly, I've wanted one since I was a kid, not sure if it will be a Sportster or a Dyna yet......

G'day and welcome. Go and test "sit" on both bikes and you will feel which one is right for you. Both are good choices.

I've actually ridden both, I think a sporty, for all the "girls bike" talk is probably a better bike for where I live...... but I'm still a bit undecided, I'm guessing it will just come down to what's around in my budget when I'm shopping......

It'll be one of those two though cause I have a sever dislike for soft tails.......

Nah Chris, Welcome but go the Whole Hog and try the Road King or Street Glide and never doubt your choice...

Welcome Chris...can't fault the Sporty. Done over 60,000 klms on mine, hasn't missed a beat..keeps up to some of those so called "Big" bikes. (Must be embarrasing for them lol). Whatever your choice...enjoy.

    Ride safe

People hating on Sportsters makes me want 1 more.............
I'd far rather people hated what I ride/drive, it beats the hell out of apathy.......
