Got a tip for yas fellas, put screaming eagle lifters in if ya haven't already.(no they don't come with kit).
Two mates with kit just done lifter rollers, one at 30 thou and the other had 40 thou on his. Second mate quoted $2800 to fix.Fucked cam, rollers etc he is also replacing oil pump and backing plate, and putting the 259s in as opposed to the 260s which were in it before as it was the older kit
I got em put in just after had mine done to quiten top end noise down which it did. Mechnic says if ya got em in it will prevent it happening or at least minimise risk.)

wonder why the kit doesn't come with them, what about the pushrods

little issues here and there all add up in the end. It seems to be a proven kit for results and does produce a lot of smiles but it's sounding more like piecing it together yourself isn't such a bad idea.

are you gys with these stage IV kits noticing extra topend noise?

when i removed the SE valve springs for the beehives it quietened down the topend to almost stock noise

and I swapped out the perfect fit pushrods for adjustables so I could sing them into the lifter a bit more, that also helped with topend noise a bit

Hey Shingles those bars are in the shed with all the others, didn't quite feel right. I put another set on yesterday that I made from a set I had. Just cut and welded them up. still not sure they are right for me but look ok.
All your tools are metric mate. only maybe 2 or 3 bolts on your bike are metric. Rest are A/F, imperial alen key and torx.
Simple job changing bars but a bit of fucking around with brake and clutch. Wish some one would make a 2 piece clutch cable.

wow dat nice fatbob ozzy i saw pics yor bike was geezz i like colur but u only jus started a a bit more ere an a bit more there check these bars arlen ness these have da reach an 1 1/4 drilled one piece type so i suppose were u bolt 2 tripple tree distance between 2 handlebar fixed risers must be made 2 a standard distance 2 suit the bars have nice curve an 11plus pullbak 10 plus rise i bent a piece of wire followin measurements of schematics shown taped 2 bars put bends in wire 2 resemble reach an hieght draw on cardboard then bend 2 shape first once u bent tape 2 wat bar is on, its closest 2 wat bars will be an sit on bike put hands around wire as if thats were your hands were not grabin wire jus make circle wif fingas over wire i set width as well all done with wire is best idea ive cum up with 2 resemble shape without jus byin another set an goin nah still not rite mind u dis only my way tryin shapes without spendin fortune an ya get all measurements of actual bars so i no its only wire but gets ya dam close 2 shape il c if i can place pik of bars here i lke

I got a different set on now just need to get a few k's on to see how they feel.
