103 stage iv kit

    I hav all packaging from stg iv with all engine parts removed from 96ci engine wrapped back in paper that contained all 103stg iv parts, and packaging states race stg iv on shipping documents and screaming eagle adhesive labels stating same on outside of box and kit came in 2 separate boxes and stated on each box ,part 1 and part 2 of stg iv race kit and is not legal or intended 4 road use track use only .did come with another tuner but wouldn't work with motor upgrade as mapping was not 4 my upgrade and shop had difficulty in jus running engine at any sort of tune so they applied another stored map that was from another stg iv build they had done and the right tuner was coming from usa for my motor so iwas told and will be sent 2 Brisbane shop as that's were bike will be tuned and gave me 350 dollars 4 tuner ,somthin about race street and mine had large injectors but ive got screaming eagle tuner from stg 1 ,hang on 2 that he said and wen tuned map will be put into that tuner as weve paid u 4 tuner that came with kit but is not 4 your build new tuner from states will come and map put into tuner u have already , he lost me after 1st tuner any way wen was tuned returned 117 hp an 117 tq and apparently was a good build and that I hav a good bit of kit there. a lot of people r not discerning between certain facts in mods like wat motor your stg iv started from as there is a lot of differnces if u look at parts 2 arrive at how all this performance package is completed ,my motor 2008 96ci as standard fatbob then 2 103ci stg now that meant everything from conrods up replaced and throttle body air filter and other extras internal decom bearings 4 cam pushrods exhaust ,now as a lot of stgiv upgrades r starting life as 103ci as standard because of newer models hav 103ci as standard motor ,but there is 2 differences that can be had in upgrading your stock 103 2 stg iv 103 as 1 package has new barrels and 1 doesn't ,im sure this is y people r getting different hp dyno figures ,well wat do u call a 103stg iv if ya motor is already off showroom floor 103 ,I think u would have 2 change those barrels 2 gain maximum reward I could be wrong SHINGLES

    hey shingles, I have 103 in mine, already has auto decamp. I was looking at the 2 stage 4 kits, street and race. The whole thing for me at the moment is warranty. Race = no warranty, street = warranty at time of purchase of new bike. I still have 8 months warranty to run on mine so at this stage I will wait till that is ended then go for a race stage 4. You picked up on my angle though when asking about the different stage kits was the diff in the outputs. from Hd cattledog, street stage 4 puts out 103ish and 103ish. from screamin eagle cattle dog stage 4 race outputs 115ish and 120ish. now the main diff I can tell between the 2 kits is valve spring force and high flow injectors. Obviously the other variables are pipes and tune. having said all that I could be over thinking the whole process...... cheers Pato

    geezeezzz jus wrote 2 pages of subject an leaned on keyboard an lost da lot ,difference between kits look up screamin eagle site and the biggest or the most in ya face item is 1 my kit changed motor from 96ci which has new barrells an thats 2 suit pistons etc ,now if ya motor is 103ci an ya gettin stg 4 kit now do u use original barrells an jus fit all components into those original barrells ,well they have 2 b taken off anyway 2 change pistons rings gudgeon ,i think there would be different barrells if stg 4 2 103ci motor is assembled wether this has anything 2 do with whole dynamics of upgrade surely there would be different barrells if stg 4 is done 2 standard 103ci block ,anyway regardless of all this an that nothing in this world is ever the same ,so 1 thing will be different 2 say an identical object regardless of wat it might be still get ya in trouble but had blu follow sit beside 10-20ks an never been pulled over even rode side by side cop bike he followed me 10+ks then came up sat briefly beside at 120 i never ever look at them jus striaght ahead now i thought here we go but nah he sped off even though i was over limit 10-15 ks i thought it was me mate hanging bak but was cop bike an both our bikes loud his stroked wen we together its like rollin thunder anyways turns out it was cop bike sittin bak about 1k or more an i just kept amblin along 120+ HE WENT PAST SLOWED for a sec then went had heaps follow in cars right up arse like feet we talkin  about here hummm tryin 2 make me krack in 80k zone went on 4 about 10ks then swish they turn thank fuk 4 that same thing interstate here day kum any closer an we,ll be relations then da old drop rite bak shit then the full on here we kum sit beside ,like close i never look just focus on wat im doin tryin 2 ride at 100k in 4th they,ll get sik of this shit an speed off an i was right off they go swish now ive seen changes in headlights at night wen day up my arse i reckon camera inside headlight i minute 2 normal lights then 1 goes duller 4 a bit ive got good mirrors an have noticed this a few times now ,and would u believe it both lights on car behind normal again hummm then cums flyin up an past at speed an i gave bike a good blastin after that as he left hwy an onwards i went 2 home but seems like ive kreated a monster christ its only a motorbike whish i had 1 of dem jetpaks or sum sorta flyin machine sik of dis road shit ,its all just a trap 4 us fools an really we jus wana hav sum fun isnt that wat life was about happiness an my 103 or 208 watever a its all there 2 have but ya not supposed 2 av that hovercraft hummm nah want flyin machine its all fuked jus sumtimes u can get away wif shit i do SHINGLES screaming eagle  performance kits www.beartoothonline.com site has coparison between race an street dyno info and more info than HD anyway does,nt say anything regarding barrel swap geez hard 2 find info ya would think b easy but all shit really mus b havin trouble wif my search gadjet im no genius wif this machine more of a fukup wen i start pushin buttons ah fuk dis all info is mainly 4 usa an not much info stg 4 its like ,dat is illegall or sum horse shit all about warranty ,ah never had dat wif mine if break get another ive tried 2 break mine ,i tell ya wat im surprised its not popped ive got tacho shift lite set at 5800 can rev more lite jus gives me idea wen im gettin close 2 rev limiter try not 2 hit it but wen doin long burnouts or jus givin it da begeezzzez gets there quik especially wen tyre spinnin in first bloody tyres fuked again da best tyre is pirelli dragon it will hook up wen new spin a bit then grip was surprised but once its down in depth wil spin easy as but even that hasn,t affected striaght line stability ,but do run steering damper an hav it on max i do a lot of as fast as she can go shit y da heck does man wana do dat must b sumthin in our genes fuk get away with wat u can wile u av chance wont get chance wen dead ,dats a long sleep an its 4 a long time unfortunatly ,i rekon we get another chance well its good 2 think that way isnt it ,i do SHINGLES dis is only way i put chart of wat people achieved makin engine go press on hd scan an fact or fiction watever it goes like heck an hard 2 stay on these allowable limits that hav been chosen 4 us bloody thing,s like ridin bronco  jus wants 2 go kik buck ,o an da best part dont ride ya bike over anymore wat da people think an look ah god fuk me ,i,ll just hav 2 rely on memories of wat was an now isnt coz fearmongers fuk em all SHINGLES wat dat ol sayin aw yeah youll never take me alive ya mother fukers cripes better take medicine lay down

    As it turns out that is exactly what I am looking at doing. Currently considering the following:

    3.938" CP pistons (maybe Axtell)

    bore standard jugs to suit

    work heads 1.9 intake, 1.6 exhaust

    ss585 gear cam

    comp 10.5 comp

    fueling lifters, quickee pushrods

    not sure about TB yet, looking at either bore, port and polish existing or replace.

    Exhaust is still an issue, I am currently scraping my VH BR2-1 so it might be a good opp to replace with a better pipe, not sure on that one yet still considering. I did notice in another thread here that you did a 107 build on a softy and had the heads worked, how did that all turn out? ok I assume? Was the blokes work any good? Cheers Pato

    Pato Got near on 120/120 out the softy

    Go a HPI 55mm TB of a SE 58mm TB, also I have some SS625 GD cams with inner gears that would work better than the 585's

    Sounds like ya gonna have yourself a good runner

    Ando I was just having a look at the 625, nice cam. but for my riding style I think the 585 might still be the cam. noted rev range is 2500-5500 for larger than 103". thanks for the advice on the TB I will check them out. any suggestions on where to purchase here in Oz? thanks Pato

    585 cams are sold by Rollie's in Brisbane. They come on later than 2,500 rpm in my 107 motor

    thanks for the info fatbat. this will be my winter project so i am starting to get the parts sorted. i get over the states a bit so I am also looking at bringing some bits back as well, might save me a few bucks. Well not really save as i will spend it on the hog anyways!

    Good luck with build / tune , etc .... You know you will have to buy a new 107 Cam/Timer cover, to suite your new build !!!!

    well got the bike back from getting tuned, numbers attached. All I can say is wow nice silky smooth power. exceptional manners, then hold on and twist the fun dial. open her up and she barks. very happy with the outcome!

    Good fun aren't they lol, my front wheel comes up very easy or the rear steps out if powering on hard. Current back tyre isn't lasting too well ha ha
