They are a pretty polite sorta thing. A bit lumpy but smoothin traffic and when you wanna show the whip to it it's got the shit there..It is possiblythe best compromise set up harley has got going.I've had one for 2 years and can't fault it for every day riding. Hard and cruising that st4 loves it.

    hi,

good to hear, i got the night dragon on back of the wide glide, i thought i gonna wear it out pretty quick but looks like i will get about 12-13000kms out of it which aint too bad, definitely feels better in corners like on the great ocean rd

i run em at about 42-44psi

    thanks

I run mine around the 36psi and think they're on par with the metzeler in a straight line, But in every other regard they out perform them,IMO. None of them work real good in the cold, Metzeler were a bit scary in the wet when trying to make progress,Just not confidence inspiring at all.

I got Wilbers shocks on the back of my XR and they are the shit as far as shocks go.$$$ though. Put Ricor 13" shocks on fatso, good value with them.

Very nice but I may be biased. What can they work out for your front end?? I ain't no hippy but ya gotta have front and rear working in harmony. You'd have to have a suspension guy up there somewhere to set it up. They can work miracles them fellas.

That's an old pic of the XR but she's still mint.

Actually the Pirelli website contradicts that statement about anything under 40psi buggering the tyre, so where did you get your facts from?

Ah another great personal taste topic.yes Too many variables to have a specific definitive answer that suits all. I spend 90% of riding time solo unloaded on backroads where possible, Have been known to put 2 hours on a trip to avoid freeways etc.So the excessive middle tyre wear isn't something that would show up on mine. Find what works for ya and go with that.

    hi,

shingles get your tuner to look at IAC warmup steps and idle VE to solve the warm up issue you have, a map writer for me has made some changes on my break-in map which fixed similar issues that i was having

    thanks

    hi,

this what I running rans, if you using Powervision? and do data logs it will give you a lot of info, use autotune as a guide only to identify the cells to smooth

you can street tune easy as with the data logs,

    thanks

    Hi,

Rans you think your bike running too lean or not enough fuel? Idle issues?

    Thanks

    Robots,
Not sure, but I know it's not 100%, maybe lean early on, and
Then a bit up and down through to 5.5 revs.....
Just want to try and get it spot on, after spending a few quid I just want it to last, don't want to be burning tops out of pistons or flooding it with fuel either.......

    Cheers mate
