Hey Shingles, that's not good to hear mate I just had my stage IV kit fitted up by Gold Coast Harley Davidson (Morgan & Wacker) finished yesterday and had the complete opposite experience to yours they went above and beyond, my bike was given back to me the way I handed it over to them with a few extras fixed that I had missed and I am a fussy fucker.
They have the same mechanics out back bloke, the manager is new and this is for the better from my experience with them (the old manager didn't seem to give a fuck)
Looking forward to the new store being finished, closer to where I live the old shop is to dated need to pick up their game to be more modern hopefully up to Gasoline Ally's standards.
What I do is ask who their best mechanics are and book my bike in for a day that mechanic is free to work on it.
Was surprised how far they have to tear the bike down.
how did ya get dem piks in workshop from staff coz i was never allowed 2 go out back as if there was somethin 2 hide ,i bielieve in wat u writing an i bielieved in workshop there as well an put 100% faith in there work wen mine was done every part was wrapped back in packaging that new part was in an bak in box or packet and all neatly placed back in boxes that kit came in an i have never seen any work done like that in my life so i was overwelmed wen picked bike up ,an parts in boxes were put in car 4 me ,just last time young guy at service dept semed kool but not givin me i suppose da spiel on yep weve done everything ,i handed him the tuner at service and said nah dont need that ah well wat da fuk would i know but puttin hose clamp on fuel line balance pipe thats an insult could hav said none in stocvk come bak and wel put rite clamp that leaves an uncertainty about ,ah fuk this,ll do wat else is there at least couldave used zip ties SHINGLES

those pipes will outperform 2 into 1 mate has same mods as myself 103ci st iv race kit an weve done standing 2 as fast as and full bore no holding back rol ons at different speeds he has the pro pipe real short just ends about inline battery box u no there wasnt anything really in it at standind starts both of us had trouble hooin up more than anythin ,but my morgan wacker said big shots are proven and more tuneable and have more back pressure ,and balance pipe i wanted those pro pipes and they advised against putting on ,so i do have faith in shop just since takeover some silly things have happened ,an as you gett more miles on motor and pipes the sound of pipes will become more in one and louder as if thier voice broke ,the only problem is mine doesnt like taking of slowly has 2 hav a bitta gusto if u tried 2 ride it like just take off slowly an jus fuddle it doesnt like that one bit its either on or off and i use clutch a lot in control of slow and dawdly traffic an round abouts cause mine will not be happy doin that an can cough an near catch u out like chain snatch or just expire an im used 2 that sorta riding having ridin enduro motorcross and trails for most of my life ,i like your bike SHINGLES
I just pulled the trigger on a D&D 2-1 fat cat today actually, That replaces the Samson powerflow III 2-1. The D&D looks ok to me.These have a stepped header design, Which should help out a bit. The reason the Samson is getting booted is because the finish is fucked after 12 months and I don't really think it's letting the full potential loose. I was trying to get hold of a Wegner 2-1-2 as pictured on the bottom, but turned out to be just too hard too.

both engines in bikes were so evenly matched it was agreed there was nothin in it ,so conclusion by me is 103 stg iv race kits are worth every cent 5300 all up thats with dyno at 1000klms which i wasnt interested in and wanted 2 use money 2 get new tyres ,but was stricktly told it has 2 be done ,fuk the thought of my by gettin da begeezez hammered out sittin on dyno isnt somethin i was happy about ,but was convinced that it had 2 be done 2 really tune as only had some map in it and wasnt right and had 2 get knew tuner from states as 1 sent with kit was no good ,and i already had screaming eagle tuner and they gave me 350 or cant remember exactly how much , anyway time came 1000klm new oil free an off 2 brisbane bike went in ute , isaid look after my bike like no free scratches in paint or u now wat i mean ,service manager at time said he would drive my bike 2 bris an make sure was handled with care ,god we get prodantic about items we own ,well ive seen enough neglect by others on vehicles ive entrusted companies with ,and of course no one noes who done it ,ya get 2 no were ya dints an scratches and other niks an naksalbeit wireing or other free damage ,an then hand you a bil at the end and ya ready 2 go off ya chops ,an ya get dont look at me i didnt do it ,so refrain stay calm one day i piked bike up was outside in sun an at angle could see swirling fine scratches in What a diffrence this stage iv makes really wakes them up.
Contrary to Shingles beast mine has really good traffic manners (maybe something to do with being a newer model) no trouble what so ever around town smooth and easy to control.
I warm mine up for 30 seconds to a minute just take it easy until she is up to temp & no probs.
This kit really allows you to have the best of both worlds it pulls really hard and revs fast but you can still cruise when wanting to enjoy the scenery. normally you trade something off !

Those wegners do run custom supertrapp mufflers. Wegner also make a 2 into 1 as well.There's something about them that I like. It might be the stainless or the 4 stepped headers or the homemade professinal look I dunno. They're probably too much pipe for a 103" I dunno, Anyhow here's a pick of thier 2-1. According Wegner the Performance of both the X pipe and the 2-1 is almost identical.??? I suppose it's the numerous tuning options Supertrapp gives.
I prefer the look of the x pipe to the last pic H.
