    labour day weekend is coming up, i reckon my girlfriend has stiched me up with dates for ron's joint with something i have to go to, so look like out

    but there's a few of us in Ballarat or when you hit the great ocean rd area on the aussie tour man, i head down to warrnambool and portland to see the ocean often

    Gday men, took her in for first oil change last week, all went well, except I think i found the vibration problem i have at 4-5 thousand rpm, front engine mount seems on the way out...hopefully that will fix the vibration problem....apart from that everything is going well with the build, we put the syn 3 oil in this time, dont know why just wanted to change it up a bit and they told me it would run a bit cooler too which is a bonus.

    shingles ere went 4 ride 2day nothin outlandish only 1 burnout gave it bit ere an there mainly hwy ride but 4 some unknown reason i behaved maybe hav dat feelin 2day ,jus not sure about dat green commy dat was ahead then bhind anyway did journy no unwanted drama ,put a few rounds threw S&W had a beer cum home o no 5pm traffic well up da middle ol son got 2 hwy an sweet run ,dat bike of mine gettin hard 2 start lately its been sittin few weeks been rainin so no ride ,but av noticed change if startin probably battery ,im gettin 1 of those trikle charge gadjets 75buks mate across road auto elec shop so handy ,so jus connect 2 wires battry plug thingy hangs down an u plug into charger an it tells u wat stage battery at an tyrns off wen charged ,theres always somethin but bein able 2 start bike is a must wen u want 2 use so 75 small price 2 pay cripes i want tacho tank badges paintjob weels new bak brake handlebars geez ez beer time now SHINGLES

    Got home today from doing 15500 ks ( full lap of the country)5 states and 2 territories in a mth on the stage 4 and never missed a beat,Now has 25000 on it and no probs, going like the clappers.
    sat on 150 consistantly for a day and a half across the nullabor and not so much as a cough. Big days on the bike in the heat up north (couple of 1000 k days).Had the missis and alot of gear on too. It did use a little bit more oil then usual but i think it is expected. i will keep an eye on it.

    sounds good mate, just check it all over and a good thorough service and should be fine.
    That sort of riding will definitely test it.

    Thanks to shingles I've just ordered a 103 stage IV kit hope it's as good as you say it is ! Will post again once it's fitted and run in .Goin in a 2013 streetbob looking forward to havin that back tyre howling !

    I DONT THINK ya will be dissapionted an yes it is good value as well i think ,i cant not say aw that wasnt as good a investment as i thought ,coz from moment i rode mine i went farrkk now this is wat i been chasein, some say the power is at top end ah well ive got power all the way and im impressed with product every time i twist throttle

    well at the begining of this  dyna section your in now go bak to the start  i started a thread about my fitting of said stage iv screaming eagle kit price is there it was 4750 i think that was ride your bike into shop ,firstly i would only use HD dealer not an indie ,iasked a lot questions will it be reiable how hard can i push it ,because thats wat will happen wen i get it i told them ,im heavey on go an i ave abused tyres with motor now ,its just an animal that wanz 2 jus go an go it does rather quikly,i ride it like flat out most of da time ,my bike went from 66hp   to 117hp on dyno an 117tourque ive ridden lots of bikes da 300k -20an hr but i can go into roundabout epull clutch in giv fistfull throttle let clutch out slipinnn it an smokein tyre as ya go round  this is tourque i treat it like an oversized trailbike that u can do shit on now its got sum guts ,man i spinnin tyre every time i leave lites ya gotta use da clutch a lot im a clutch rider aqn aways av hand on clutch so i can av better control an can get yaself out shit or in it anyway gold coast MORGAN WACKER did work and all old parts were wrapped bak in paper that replacement part came in and put bak in box so every component was in a box taped and placed in box all parts came in from states now iwas blown out wen i piked up my bike coz i thought theres jus gunna be dis big pile of engine bits jus in a pile but no they werent ,i kid u not i did not expect this they carryied to my car put boxes in boot there is 2 big ones parts come in,this bike will make you probably go a bit faster than u expected coz once u take off an turn dat throttle a bit you are in 4 a surprise ya put one of dese motors in jus ta put around thinkin about fuel economy or tyres coz dats not how 2 ride this bike youve created ,i said 2 myself after riden 200mtrs from shop jus spinnin an smokein now this is how bike should be wen i bought it ,i knew there was somethin missing in stardard form i mean da 96ci good motor pulls hard goes ok but just wasnt enough then i look on forums read bit on google an was gunna do stage 2 i mean i was tryin noy ta spend 2 much ,den man said a well wen ya get used 2 stg 2 u could upgrde ta 4 ,i thought fuk dat gotta pay put 2 gether stg 2 den pay again stg 4 nah saz me bugger it i want da big one please an da rest is history ,i hope ya like noise coz my pipe sound incresed 3 fold same pipes an i said i want pipes 2 suit mods they say u cant av no crappy pipes on motor will not work or even run so depending on ya pipes if shop thinks wat ya got ok then ya be rite but then wen ya done 1000ks i had 2 dyno tune bike pissed me off coz nearl 600buks but was instruked by shop this must be done o well ok then fukin money was gunna buy new tyres well there goes that so be aware of that  ,an if ya guna start mixin an match all diffferent parts 2 gether coz someone else did it an was cheaper well theres 2 many viariables there no rwal map 4 bags of mixed lollies i went with screamin eagle after reseach about produck theyve been bench tested continuoisly run is aproven product that is guna be right from the word go as for tuneing engine like ya drive in shop they put upgrade together ring ya up 2 day later or so coz all all parts come in kit ya not lookin 4 a set cams then this then that o we dont av dat in stock i went with the most sensible way with knowledge was at HD dealer an if they fuk it they fix it ,and of course ya can go an get dis bit dat bit been there dun that shit nothing but a fukin headache an by da tyme ya get bike bak ya nearly died of old age now go an chek dat thread out full of people wif stage 4 kits in there goodnite SHINGLES jus my 2cents my head hurts jus put fatboy bars on 2day on 6 1/2  curved risers on me fatbob really brought controls  close 2 me an up im tryin 2 make bike more easier 4 me 2 go longer rides coz  i av injuries an distance past 150 ks im fuked so now im changein hites on me new mini floorboards with 360 % adjustment so many vairables 4 me as i need it coz my legs are different  and im changein angles 2 get just rite as 2 stop pain in my fukked foot  thats fused 2 my leg bone so iav 2 get angle rite coz av no ankle im welded up there so shits a lot harder 4 me now i fukin hate it SHINGLES

    Righto I understand. I also understand that the top NHRA pro stock bikes run S&S engines and harley has there's built buy Vance & Hines. I know lots of people with screaming eagle builds and admittedly when you buy everything ie decompressor head kits machine ported heads cams throttle bodies etc you get a good motor. But in my opinion S&S do it easier and cheaper. You don't need as much to make the same power and Have a reliable ride. For less money. I got standard ported heads S&S pistons and barrels and S&S cams. Mine makes 115 hp & 120 tq with standard throttle body. I love to ride it hard all day. Plus I love to put it down the drag strip when I can. I paid way less. But each to there own as they say. S&S have been building harley parts for a long long time. My 2 cents.

    Chain driven 585 easy starts. The builder changed everything in the heads. 583's work really well on stock 103s
