Just picked up a workshop manual (HD99484-12) from HH Adelaide. Harley Davidson call it a Service Manual but it is a workshop manual, and not to be confused with the Owners Manual that comes with the bike.
List price $75.65, paid $68.10 with discount.
Covers all sportster models, A4 size, is about 1.5" thick has all torque values, wiring diagrams, crankcase, head removal etc all the bits you need to know.
I've already learnt that inside the front brake reservoir there's a line indicating the upper level when topping up. I always used to go by the outside marker on dirt bikes next to the sight glass!
Anyway I would have paid a bit more but am stoked to have this reference manual for such a great price.
As a matter of interest the same part number is used for all Sportster workshop manuals, just the last 2 digits change for the year model. For example a manual for a 2010 model would be HD99484-10.
Cheers!
