Hi i just checked the oil in my bike and its really low not even on dipstick. Any one else had this it its only got 600kms on it

it will use a little when its still "bedding" in, how are you riding your bike? i rode mine hard when i got it (dont let it "labour") and it dosnt use any oil at all.

always check oil level hot & bike up right . if she 's been sitting for a while  it could have wet sumped a little , check when hot

I change oil and filter at 500 klm on a new motor ( just a habit from racing ) whats your plugs colour ?? are you loading the motor up i.e.: few hills to bed the rings in as I've seen glazed bores in as little as 1000klm on a fresh engine

Shes all good found me book and yes i followed the steps. And it turned out to be a false alarm n im riding my bike to make it bullet proof lol. Didnt realise it worked that way to check oil. Bikes arent my fortay.

they use a dry sump oiling system, so when parked for a bit the oil can sometimes run back down into the motor from the oil tank.
