can't beat that response chriso. but how true it is.

andyro your bike should be close. M & W told me today they have bikes in melbourne and should be arriving from the end of next week and blue is among them. I did look at the blue on another model and now I am thinking black is best

Thanks mate, you're not wrong about it being better than June or July.
All the best with your health issues, hopefully they're sorted sooner rather than later.

Hey Jethro, I'll definitely get some pictures up, but she's gonna be stock for a little while to give the bank account time to recover.

As for getting a big bike without having a big bike licence.........ahem.................that has definitely been done before.........

    Cheers,

    Andy

licence riquirements have denfinately changed over the years.
My son just got his L for a car but has to have his P for 1 year before he can get L for a bike or some crap like that.
I got my L on 17th birthday and P 7 days latter for car, bike and truck, all no limits. It's a whole new world I guess.

Jethro M&W said they had bikes comming in progressively over the next 4 weeks.
You buy it and I will run it in for you, sounds like a plan.

Haha Thanks Ozzy, funny the salesman is telling me the same thing............ one question though I am stuck on colour, I like black denim but apparently its a shit to look after and then looks like shit? So still undecided it will be that or vivid.

I started out liking the Pearl Blue but now think the Vivid Black looks good also. Down to the individual. As long as you like it that is all that matters.

One thing I have learnt since becomming really interested in HD's is that you have nothing to prove and no need to impress any one. It's all about YOU.

Never owned any thing in the flat black look so have no idea about how to look after it.
Owned bikes and cars in gloss black and WHEN clean they look great.
No matter what colour it is it will look crap if it's filthy.

Andyro is going with the Blue so lets see what he thinks in a few weeks.

I actually started out liking the vivd black (and still do) but soon realised it was an extremely popular colour, was bloody hard to get a hold of, and also one that had been around for a few years.
Aside from actually also liking the big blue pearl colour, the other reason I went with it was because as far as I am aware, it's a new colour for 2012 and there aren't that many around.
I guess one of my main considerations was a little bit of exclusivity (especially when shelling out over 25K)and after having now seen it in the flesh (particularly in the sunshine), I'm glad I did opt for the blue.
As Ozy alluded to it's all up to the choice of the individual and the only person you need to please is yourself (some may also argue that the wife needs to be included, but.............)

As promised, here are a couple of pics.

They're not the best (iPhone) and they don't do the bike and paint justice by a long shot, but you get the picture......(pardon the pun).

Try and ignore the shit fight in the garage too!

Absolutely loving this bike, but I think that new exhaust, aircleaner and tuner will be making an appearance sooner rather than later!
