Im not very happy with the front brakes on my 2012 fabob, is it the ABS?

For twin disks I expected better brakes, any suggestions.

Mine are fantastic although I did change the pads the first day.

Take it back and get them to look at it, maybe some thing simple

I use Lyndall. maybe others but I like the feel.

I would still get it checked before considering changing the pads.

Mate posting from France otherwise I would ring ya but it's an easy fix. You just need to chop about an inch square out
Of the top of the rear bracket that holds the pipe on. If your worried about weakening it you can weld another piece on
the bottom to strengthening it. Paint it up , don't matter if it's a bit rough as you won't see it. All should go together with
no dramas. This should all make sense to you but let me know if ya have any troubles and I will keep an eye on the thread on my travels to see how ya go

Max, yes the pipe is fitted after a few mods to the bracket.
After corresponding with D&D in the states they've advised that they will send me across a new bracket once they've developed one to suit ABS.
I've now just got to get the tune sorted out, despite the one from Fuel moto appearing to be pretty close to the mark aside from a bit of popping/back firing on a trailing throttle.
One thing though, it sounds the ducks guts even though it's the quiet baffle, she sure ain't too quiet...

That sounds like it will work out for you mate. Good they will send a bracket. How long you wait will be interesting to see.
Maps seem to always be closeish but not quite right. Dyno work to resolve it isn't cheap though. Check your email mate.

Yes I do prefer the darker colours, I'm also a lazy c*nt and not a big fan of having to clean and polish chrome too much... Not that taking care of black is much easier.
