    Morning all,

I am currently awaiting the arrival of my FATBOB this coming thursday the 19/7. yipee farking longest wait of my life but im sure by all reports worth it.

I have done a fair bit of reading in the time it has taken to arrive and have got a question for everyone -

In the research it has shown that allot of people are having trouble keeping the wheels clean especially due to the brake dust. Have you experts and owners got any hot tips to keeping my girl in the best possible condition?

    Appreciate any help

Great to see all the Dingers out there getting Fatbobs. I use a bit of Mr Sheen. Seems to do the job.

Hey Max, I have to admit I can't say I've spent too much time recently on the wheels at night time either. How far are you away from the first service mate?

Hi Dinga82, all that I've heard about the wheels is that you do need to clean them on a regular basis, particularly if your in a humid environment or if the wheels get wet and haven't been cleaned in a while. Apparently there is iron in the brake pads and that is what causes the pitting and corrosion on the wheels.
I don't know of a "best way" to take care of them, I think it's just a matter of keeping the brake dust off them.
I'm sure there are others who may have more specific advice, but thats about all I have to offer.
    Cheers, Andy

Fair enough. When I hear "kids", I think young kids like mine that I wouldn't let within a grid square of cleaning my bike, despite their good intentions.
