Cams, air filter and free flowing pipes best bang for your buck.

Look up S&S website they give it to you in 4 steps. Sure enough the last are pistons and cams etc. As much as I agree Nos is a cheap HP gain its illegal in Qld and can get ugly and very expensive if it goes wrong. My 2cents.

I went this way  everything else was stock no head work, etc.

if you do a search on procharger I did a report from when I first installed it a couple of months ago.

Since then I have added cams and am now waiting on a scorpion clutch as the standard one doen't like new HP but I only did the cams because I like a lumpy idle on a Harley, not because it needed it. Some people have said not worth the money, or "why" but 99% of them have not ridden a supercharged bike.

The way I looked at it 7K bolt on horsepower to acheive before the cams 115HP or the usual big bore kit, cams, headwork etc that was being advertised for 5K for 100-105hp (yes I know you can get it cheaper but that is what was being advertised at the time).

Sorry I forgot to add I ride it most days, and the power is there 100% of the time from idle through to rev the limiter, and it becomes very adictive.

Hey Greasy don't want to be smart ass but can I ask why not to crack open the engine (any bad experience in past?). As you know so many of us has gone that path and it is proven and worth it? But then to each its own

     hey punjabi,

origionaly i didnt want to spend a fuck load of cash and just get a cheaper "bang for buck" sort of thing. i thought that cams and all that would be $$$$$ but learning more and reading more ive seen that its not as pricey as i had thought. do you have any idea on the whole thing? im new to the fuel injected bikes and new to harleys so i have no idea about what mods are worth it or not.

    cheers!

You can look at screaming eagle 103 stageIII. You can get that for around 1200 with se tuner. If you already got se tuner then u can sell it off and use that money for labour. I am guessing stage 3 will cost around 7-8 hrs.
This is something I will be doing once I get over stage 1 which is enough fo me at present.

Btw this set up will get you around 100hp/100tq.
Let us know how u go. Good luck

     Hey Greasy

Sorry to get back to you late.... here is the link www.gotharleyparts.com/category_s/152.htm you will need some1 in states to post you the stuff though as they don't send overseas (I asked on the phone)

you can even choose between stage 1, 2 or 4. But for me stage 3 will work out good ... good luck
