Calling all you Sydney crew, wot about getting organized & set up a regular meet for coffee & lies, somewhere to sit & have a feed & chew the fat. Weekend or weeknights take ya pick.
Put some thought into it, can be central for all or outta the way like the warriors café on the old road, or the old Oak up at Peats ridge so we actually get to ride somewhere. Put ya thinking caps on, could be up the putty or in the mountains, could be two places per month, ever fortnight at a different end of the metro area.
Interested ?????????????
Also sounds good to me - better when it gets warmer though (yeah I am a cold wimp).
A couple of the groups I have ridden with often try to do ride / dinner meet but it always got a bit too hard with booking a venue then only half the people turning up, If we did a pub or club then it wouldn't be as much of a problem.
OK so why don't we have a coulpe of regular places to meet up & have a monthly get together at one or the other. West one month, south the next, then north so forth ect ect ect
My pick would be the pie in the sky on the old road for north.
Wot say the rest of ye, arrhhhh.
Tox,
I see you signed up with Sydney HOG, they have a meeting once a mth at Strathfield golf course, and In summer they have a ride to a different place for a feed during the week, also once a mth...
wheres PITS ?
Pie In The Sky
nobody
Count Mrs Moose and myself in. Just post where and when , and call for acceptances.
OK, but wot days suit most people, some have kids sports on Saturdays, so would Sundays be better?
Do we just make it a weekend every fortnight & those who are available just turn up on the day they are available, some on the sat, some on the Sun ?
Thinking caps on
OK then lets get it started
1st & 3rd sunday of the month
10 am at the pie in the sky
Have a cuppa & then head out for a couple of hours in the saddle.
Available routes would be north up the old road or onto the F3 if heading further afield for a late lunch.
West via the galston gorge or down across the Berowra waters ferry.
East via the Kuring-gai national park & then on up Palm beach way.
South any where ya damn well like.
So come on guy's let hit the road.
The first Sunday next month is fathers day, what better present could ya get than to be allowed to go for a Sunday ride with ya mates.
Get on ya bikes & ride
On the Old Pacific Highway at Cowan (a couple of Kilometres past Hornsby). It is about 2 kilometres before (on the Sydney side) the Brooklyn Bridge
