    Doesn't Volkswagon still own AUDI?
    So they could end up building the bikes anywhere where the labours cheap.
    That's what Volkswagon do.

    I think it will be a good thing for ducati, they improved Lamborgini's factory straight away without changing the product

     I reckon they can only improve things. I had a 2003 Ducati. Fantastic bike, except for the poor assembly quality, fit of panels etc, and the tank rusting out due to its fine Italian quality steel. Assembly in Thailand would be a big improvement. Letting the square heads loose on the brand would be even better. I have personally seen the Porsche factory, as well as any number of Siemens factories. They are amazing, and like Convert says, you can literally eat of the floor of them. TC
