Evo cutting out when warm

Probably been asked before by I tried to search couldn't find anything. My Evo seems to be cutting out when getting warm , it runs fine in the cold weather and even when it starts cutting out , electrics stay on. I have deduced it down to maybe the points (need to replace it and condensor) , main circuit breaker maybe?, considering maybe a fuel issue ? . Also two more questions (sorry) running a thunderheart micro unit , in the manual it states to run a 30 amp breaker wondering if I couldn't run a 40 amp because both rear indicators stay on like driving lights ,(actually prefer) and maybe that might be a contributing factor to the failed main breaker? Also where can I get a decent breaker :)? Sorry for the long spiel , I just ride it to and from work , can't keep getting tow trucks to take it.

Bike is an 84 softail with latter model Evo 89 - 93, points ignition.

    Cheers Karl

Thanks fellas. Yeah still has points, scared to jump over to electronic ignition. Was hoping somebody might say that , prick to change over but easy cheap and have a set of points and condenser sitting here.
Circuit breaker was actually a new one but it looks like it's actually failed pulled it out and terminals snapped ? So I'll replace that. Replaced the coil a few weeks back to an Andrews one which seems to be holding up but I will definitely try the hair dryer. Thanks again for the quick response

Yeah it's a points coil had to double check when I went to pick it up almost picked up the wrong one.  Learn something new everyday thought the early evos still had points. Would you recommend just switching to an electronic ignition?
    Cheers

clean the points  then run the bike in a dark garage with the lights off look @ the points if there  are  a orange light too yellow spark  @ the points good but if they are  showing a bright  white /blue spark  no good ,  new points & condensor , ckeck & clean the bobweights  off course as well  ,        or could be coil ? feel coil when bike stops if it's hot coil body, coil no good ,                                                                                                                      run a seperate 30 amp fuse for your  thunder downunder heart what ever that is .      the 30 amp cuirt breaker  off the battery main is for the bike

Thanks for all the info fellas been a huge help. Looks like the condensor and main breaker both sh** themselves. I'll probably change over the points and condesor on the weekend , then next week buy a Daytona Twin Tec ignition just because it's both single and dual fire , plus i have a set of coils to suit both. Thanks again been a massive help.

Yeah i definitely wouldnt buy it if it wasn't set up for kickstart (:) one of the only reasons i bought an 84')  , emailed a Daytona distributor last night asked if it was set up for kickstart , they said it is hope they are right.. i really do like the Crane Hi4 fireball dual fire ignition tho, might look into that before i start spending mullah.

on the H1-4 crane ign system on kick mode  she fires every time on the comp stroke ,on the electric start mode she let's the motor spin over 3  turns before she throws a spark too save the back lash on the electric starter drive bendix gear or starter clutch, esp if it's high comp built motor ,              but if it's a  pretty  normal type motor not too rad  you can start her  it on kick  with the electric start if you know what your doing ,
