Hi Guys, am hoping someone can help.
I have a 2006 Vrod (VRSCA) - the first with the twin rotor Brembo's. The front brake started to pulsate quite dramatically especially once warmed. I took it straight to my Harley guy who is a long time Harley specialist and been very good. He diagnosed a warped rotor (which i agreed with). We replaced the rotors and by the time i got home from his workshop (40 min ride), the brakes were pulsating again. They arent quite as 'grabby' but i can definately feel it.. Gets fukn embarrassing pulling up at lights I can tell you. Am frustrated and cant think what it could possibly be. I domnt want to just keep going back to the mechanic and paying for things that arent right until we get it right. Has anyone had any experience with this or possibly any suggestions? Any comments appreciated!
Broker.
Could be the Rotors need wearing in.

you are not clear , but i assume that both rotors and new brake pads as well ?
Yeah mate it could be any of those. I'll jack it up tmoro and check out all as suggested. Thanks.
FLSTC, just the rotors have been replaced. nothing else. Have had a warped disc on my car before and this felt similar. its obviously not the rotors tho as theyve been replaced. Have read a few threads on other sites now and it does seem to have occurred to others yet no definitive explanation. I'll just have to trial and error it .....
Thanks Allde - yeah that thread seems to touch on exactly what my issues are. I am not mechanically minded and so get lost when people start talking floating rotors and pins etc. I couldnt see any one answer so i'll just have to go through a process of elimination. Thanks mate.
Hey Hog, no ABS....
