Ok just went away for a run with the boys yesterday. Took off from Tailem Bend and bike started running like shit, no power, struggled to get to 120Kph, loose power under load, coughing, backfiring when WOT, Absolutley crap. Anyway it showed the following codes, P0131, P0151 No problems with them O2 Sensors Lean. But it showed P1353 which is Front Cylinder No Combustion, I didn't notice if the engine light came on, but I know that I gave it some WOT and the engine actually died on me untill I backed off the throttle and she came back to life. We got where we were going I cleared the codes and came back today. On the way back the bike ran a hell of a lot better, still stumbles a bit up high in the rev range but It was nothing like yesterday. Also I loaded a different map to try out on the run, once I cleared the codes I loaded my original map back into the bike. But surely a different map would cause all those issues.
I am considering the following possibilities,
Bad batch of fuel?
Blocked Filter resulting in no fuel delivery,? Bike has done 56K.
Coil is braking down under load,?
Plugs/ wires doing the same as above?
Anyone have any ideas/thoughts if I am on the right track.
PS other than that a piss up great weekend.
