G'day Fellahs,
I'm yet another newby first time HD (future) owner of a big blue pearl FXDF Fatbob and have had a long line of sportsbikes mainly Jap, but most recently a BMW S1000RR.
I've just about hit that stage in life where where the body (and balls) have said it might be time to slow down a bit, but hopefully with the approval of the gatekeeper to the vault AKA the wife (and a bloody lotto win wouldn't go astray!!), I might still be able to keep the S1K.
Anyway, I'm told the Fatbob is due to arrive some time around June or July, but nothing more specific than that. Is this the norm for HD, as in the past dealers have always been able to give me a pretty good indication ie within a 2 week timeframe of when a bike will arrive??

Welcome Andy. Waiting is a right royal pain in the ass. i've been waiting for a month now and it is still 2-3 weeks away. The dealer say's 6-8 weeks after it leaves the states. If there's none in the country, or it is a special colour, then unfortunately we have to wait.. Hope this helps. Untill then, just keep Ridin your other good thing. Hutch
Yeah the waiting is the worst part, but I reckon I'll probably appreciate the bike all the more for it. I put the deposit down in February and am thankfull Ive got something to ride until it arrives. The mufflers and tuner kit are definitely at the top the list of things to do. Cheers, Andy
