"HOW-TO" Servicing in Perth WA : watch and learn
Been a long time coming folks, but all my mates have been on at me for years to do this !
Have your Harley serviced here in Perth and WATCH and LEARN how it's done.
For YEARS I have done all of my mates bikes ( LOTS !) and for many dudes by word of mouth .
(They call them "HOW TO" mechanics stateside. )
17 years of Harley experience and 15 years of automotive trade prior to that
I will service your bike while you watch and learn, and some dudes then do it themselves once they've got the "confidence".
Many guys come back again as they KNOW the job was done well the last time.
"3-hole" Oil changing , fitting slip-on mufflers etc , all Synthetic oils and quality or genuine filters used.
I can also help with TTS tuning ,( probably have the most experience with this in Perth at the moment !)
This is in the WA section as I can hardly help someone in Brizzy FFsake !
Shouldn't think the ADMIN would have any problems with this post ?
PM for contact details
PS Please don't turn this into a " Fak do it yerself' " windup, some guys ( and girls EDIT!) appreciate the "learning" very much !!
I'd be keen to find out more, where are you located????
and of course what dollars are we talking?????
Hey Retro good idea, mate do ya need to get the 1st service at the dealer or can you do it without voiding warranty?
CHeers

Ryno had a 3 hole oil change done , with a new genuine HD black oil filter . 2007 Streetbob Mobil 1 V-Twin in engine and primary , and Amsoil gear oil in the gearbox . 5 quarts of oil in total 3 new sump plug O-rings required as well, you don't always need to replace them, just yer luck Took a coupla hours , with everything being explained on the way. Correct torque procedures etc etc.. All up cost to Ryno $180
TTS Advice given as well at the same time.
Waiting for the followup response, hope it's all going well ( It always does !!)
Hey mate, sorry its taken me a while to get back on here and rave about the work done! I've been too busy riding!! haha
To all the blokes out there thinking about giving this a go, stop thinking about it and go do it. It was great to learn more about my bike, little things that you'd never hear from the dealers or other servicers. There was alot of noticable difference on the ride home, you could hear the difference as soon as I started it up. TTS advice was spot on and helped me get my bike tuned to (as close as possible) perfection. and after all that, the price for what you get is unbeatable.
Cheers Retro, I hope things brings you alot more people keen to learn from someone who is genuine and definitely worth listening to.
