Where's a good dyno

Hi I'm currently getting a 106 S&S upgrade with 585 cams and relevant head work bigger valves etc etc.My old mate Glenn Prowse in Bundy is doing the work for me but he has no dyno and strongly suggests I get it done ASAP even though he will have it running as well as he can before I get it back. My question is who in the south east of Queensland is good with a dyno and is good with Harley's. Admittedly I'm not completely ignorant of what's out there I just want the best job done. I know lots of shops take your money and put a canned map in and tweak it a bit. I'm after a full tune from top to bottom..

    Any help would be apreacited.

Yeah Rob I'm using a power commander V. I'm still going without the O2 sensors. Open loop. Therefore I need the dyno to get my map stop on. I'm down in Brisbane now so trying to find a decent shop to help me out.

I'll put another vote in for Fred at ProCycle Dyno. He did mine, full tune. Took a few hours but am very happy with the result.

He sells/installs/tunes Power Commander and he also uses TTS.

Couldn't speak more highly of the man!

with EFI , takes almost a full day to do a good tune, just a slow process. there are some good one's in Bris but buggered if i know who, just tuning a HD is different to Tunning other motors. if you can find a tunner that has tunned that combination b4 with good results useing same tunner you have they would prob be able to just download the maps they made. good luck i like that combination just not open loop. i like Carbs, but what ever you got is sweet.

     Hey Mate

The 124 is stock and on the dyno its reading 130hp and 126 torque ,never been that worried about dyno readings ,its lift the front wheel in the first 3 gears ,so when i get a chance i'll put it down the track

    All good

My engine builder is all over it. I had a talk to him and he is orginizing the dyno tune for me. He reckons either Mick from Serco or Fred from slackes creek that you guys have said. So hopes are high for some good numbers both on the dyno and on the track. If I can get it off the line ill be moving. He get his 103 to run 11.2s all day. I'll keep you posted.

Ok I thought I'd bring this back up for those interested. I got the bike dynoed by Mark at Serco through my engine builder Glen Prowse of Highway motorcycles in Bundaburg. It turned up with 107hp and left with 114 and an awsome 120tq. I ran it down the strip at willowbank yesterday with not much rubber on my tyre after 5 meetings and the dyno. So no burnouts was getting me 11.7s then with only one round left I did a small 3 rd gear burnout and ran a 11.60 @ 113mph. With a 1.69 60ft.. So a new tyre will get me to 11.50s.. Next will be to look at the gearing. Lots can be done do go faster yet. Glen has done a excellent job on the heads that makes all the difference.
