Lowering blocks

     I do not really need lowering my 2005 1200c but if it were a little bit lower it would not hurt, I'm no full forward.

    1st question will it hurt the handling, I have Ikons on the rear & Ikon springs in the forks.

    2nd question is it easy to do & where do I get em if I go for em.

     Dermie, if you only drop it an inch or so, the handling will be fine. I lowered my Iron a good two and a half inches (with shorter shocks) and the handling is not any different. The main issue with lowering is the ground clearance. Less clearance, more scraping when you lean over too far. As for getting hold of them, eBay is your friend. There are heaps. Road 6 customs make some that seem to be well made. TC

    I'm running 1" lowering blocks on my 2000 sporty don't notice any difference in handling still slides nicely
    I got mine off ebay in the states in chrome think around $70 and piece of piss to fit even left it on the jiffy stand

    i have the road 6 customs ones in mine and they are awesome. easy to fit and are already black. think they were 60 with freight.
