Hi all, names TC, and from Vic.
I've got a 1980 FLH80, stripped dresser. I've had it for the last 20 years.
Changed the oem carb for the S&S, the tapper turbo's for the drag pipes, and had HD Developments fresh'n the top end with a 20 thou rebore .
Since then the bike has been in the garage untouched or riden for the last 10 years. Due to having to care for a disabled daughter.
Time to get the bike back out and running.
I haven't been off bikes all together, I've also got a '02 Yamaha R1 , '79 Honda CB900f (modified), '93 Suzuki RMX 250, and a '80 Kawassaki KX125.
As long as it has two wheels, I'll ride it.
Cheers TC.
Thanks mate.
I love all bikes, but my Harley is still my baby.
I hope the pic works, here's her before the carb and pipe change.
And yes, they are 12g shotty shells in the ends of the grips.
Looks good T.C., bit partial to home made bourbon myself at times...welcome to the forum
Welcome T.C hope you enjoy the forums.
Welcome T.C. , Plenty of friendly people on this forum and the knowledge you can pick up outstanding.
Welcome
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
Here's a few things I plan to do over the winter months.
Twin disks up front and brake upgrade, Ignition upgrade, handlebar controls, front lightbar, custom solo seat and new paint.
I was also thinking to take it out to 88 cubes, but not sure if I'll do it.
The list will probably grow as I start to strip it down.
