I'm trying to get some adivce as to whether after market switches will work on my bike (2011 FXST) due to it have a Body Control Module. My HD dealer said they wouldn't work & that the easiest way to overcome this problem is to get a wiring harness from a 2007 - 2010 bike.

I'm also in the process of removing the ABS & again have been told the only way not to have the ABS light blinking on the dash is to change the wiring harness. 

I'd have to say from my limited experience & knowledge of electrics the BCM is proving to be a real pain in the arse! 

Any thoughts or expeience would be greatly appreciated.
