with any paint job .. do lots of research .. there are plenty of airbrushing shops out there and plenty of material to sift through. there isnt mush room so you have to also start thinking how you continue the theme through to the front and rear .. for instance a tailgunner on the rear fender .. you get the picture
also one thought is whether you try and pick up a spare set of tins to do the job on . that way you have your originals kept nice and clean ( and you can still ride your bike while the work is being done
good luck , make it your own

I am pretty sure that in the Harley spare parts catalogue there is actually a paint set available along these lines.

Hi there, Ivé seen onother one similar to what your saying. either Todd or Rick kelly has it. I was at the Mt Buller HOG rally in dec 2010, and the Kelly boys were there supporting Harley's cause they have one each. They have a night rod and i think a deluxe or ar a heritage. Any way it is painted green with riveted panels old skool style. It looked good. Can't find any pics though. Just my two cents worth.
Here's me and the boys with my muscle when i was there.
I guys,
Not sure if this is in the context of this post and i cant find what im looking for elsewhere, i want to paint my fork sliders black and the original plan was to powder coat them but my bike gy said their powder coater wont do it because they may warp it.
Is that the case and if not does someone know a good powder coater in the penrith area. I dont want to pay a fortune but i understand good work costs.
