Just a heads up guys,
Anyone riding along Pittwater road (between North Narabeen and Warringah) this morning be extra careful.
Cops are out in big numbers. Spotted about 4 cars being pulled over, one by an un-marked silver
Holden Commodore.
One patrol car pulled a U-ey to follow me about a mile into Macca's car park....gave bike once over while I was ordering
my coffee, then sat in car waiting for me to leave.
Have they got nothing else better to do???
blitz on bikes ... whata surprise
funny though , ive been out and about and havent seen any ... shoulda bought a lottery ticket
Drove home from Blackwater yesterday after night shift and didn't see one of the stinkin' "persons". Good run and fast too.
I dropped into my work place yesterday where my bike is at the moment, after mates bailed on an afternoon of fishing. Any how I was tempted to ride my unregistered bike home, but thought the better of it. Kinda wished I did now, as I never saw 1 cop in my travel home.
Burra, in my younger years I would have been running around the paddock like a mad chook at the sight of any chopper let alone the cops
Now days, I just sit back with beer in hand wondering whose going to get raided in the neighborhood
And watching my taxes getting chewed up on Easter penalty rates.
I worked Fri, Sat and Sun and was stopped at RBT 13 times in or near Melb city.
Probably passed 5 or 6 speed cameras too.
I live in lilydale and on Good Friday headed up to Yea for the weekend. In Coldtream they were setting up a breatho and def making a big deal of it as there was some brass there. Anyway I managed to just miss it but got a call from my bro a little bit later (he was heading to yea too) asking if i had seen anything unusual as he had run into "traffic" just before the Warby turn off.........so apparently their little show of force in the name of road safety had caused a back up of traffic that would have been 3km long. Luckily he was able to back track and head out the back way to Yarra Glen.
Happy easter holidays
