    A.F.G Welcome
Get the part number off the PC3. There was a lot of grey imports that where re-badged for specific bikes with the right maps installed. I brought one and it died after 12 months and Dynojet replaced it downunder after postage was confirmed back to them. They where pissed when it arrived stateside telling me it was a re-badged grey unit.

What sort of money are you paying for the PC3.

Already paid for and installed at the shop, but bike is not starting the same or running the same, backfiring sometimes on starting, taking to long to start sometimes, then sometimes starts like its already going with no actual start up noise ie;( bruuuum),when riding the revs are high, thats why i was questioning if it's the correct power commander, but just noticed the electronic/efi forum, from looking at that,i think that even though the shop said they transferred the map over,it sounds like they haven't done it correctly

All those symptoms are normal for the PC3 like hard cold starting and the back fire on occasions. I had a pc3 on my 06 dyna and chased the popping on de-cell for a while on my mates dyno but gave up. Its the nature of the beast unfortunately. I ran a number of maps until I found the right one and then we putt it on his dyno to fine tune. I will find out what map I was running to try in your bike.

Discovered the problem, when they, copied the map to the new power commander they had not checked the Throttle to make sure it was fully off, this caused the mapping to be out by 2%,

The correct power commander is orange and is called a SERT. These interceptors are rubbish and do not belong on a bike that already has closed loop and knock control. Anyone that tells you different doesnt know enough about efi and should not be touching it!!

Hey Buzznuts, I think the power commander and sert are different animals, the SERT is a Screaming Eagle Race Tuner and the power commander I think is made by dynojet--cheers Grim

    Hey Grim,

Was just taking a shot at the power commander, I use and reccommend the SERT, was just a little frustrated that day with a PC that was fitted to a procharged bike. No boost input and being told it would read and control the fuel. They surely must take us all for idiots!!. These universal Interceptor ECU's have been tossed out by the car tuner market years ago and I annot believe they still exist here with the bikes!!!

    Cheers- Ant

On a 2011 Fatboy, now using the SERT to do the whole job, boost corrected for both fuel and timing, customer is wrapped with over 140rwhp, still a 96c.i engine. Very impressed by it !!! I think there is a thread on it here somewhere...

    Cheers- Ant
