I have just bought a new softail and have a custom paint set to put on. Do you reckon i should wait a while and just enjoy a brand new bike  or just put them on now? Seems a shame to stuff with a brand new bike......  have to change over the fuel pump and console etc.. whats your opinions ?

I'm guessing you have another paint set coming because you prefer the look so put them on.

I have another set coming for mine. If I had them when the bike was new I would have put them on.

its a full custom airbrushed paint set mate, what do you think of them?
They are more shiny than they appear in the photo but i am still looking at ways to give them that true show quality shine.

Nice paint fella, but as yur askin' I'd ride it stock for a while. Those tins are nice but why not wrap 'em up, put 'em away until maybe Christmas. Something ta look forward to.

You've already got the new stuff so there's no hurry. My 2 cents.

I've voiced my opinion on a similar topic before. If you have a pristine set of stock tins and a new set of custom tins, whichever you choose will get damaged. A stock set in pristine condition will be worth more and be a rarer beast in 20 years than a "custom" set.

    Your call . . . .
