    The new Trumpy sounds scary !!

    Nice little bolt in Cam the EV46.
    Sounds like you have to much Cam gear clearance causing the whine.

    was it one of them 1,500cc twins?

    your bike sounds good BC, a younger riding & racing m8 of mine, had a springer softail 80 inch forget what cams but cow did the heads it flew.

    good honest evo will outlast any harley i reckon a mates got a 92fxr just ticked over 840000k an never had heads off all i done is a starter for him runs motul oil an nuthin else

    the tickin lifter noise went with thicker oil hey cookie maybe change every 3500k an the lifters should be ok but if noise comes back may need to get the limiters an adjustables found some adjust here last night been up rebuildin a shovel oil pump an he just rode off headed up you way nice bike n happy as shit as no one wanted to do it in town until wednesday 150 an he all done will keep the ye out for a mik for ya too

    to far mate to have good adjustment it fit mmm wat tooth belt ya runnin maybe go 1 or 2 teeth more on belt would be better checked one shed for pulleys got one for the honda soft tail an may have two in boxes will look over next few days mate

    Yeah badcooky you are right. I've got an 07 Bonneville trumpy and the motor makes a hell of a lot more noise than the twin cam engine in my Heritage. Still, the Triumph is a great bike to ride and ultra reliable.
