Got my first 500ks with the Tmax and have had no probs at all, the unit has settled in nicely. I am also very happy with the throttle response, it is instant with no signs of hestitation unlike the PC111 which had an annoying flat spot when taking of hard. So far so good.

    High Bobtail,

Which program did you use, and did you mod it. Does it idle smoothly.

I'm having some issues with my 07 Softy and have to narrow down why it is not smooth under light or no load conditions. I can't take it back for warranty work with a T/Max on it. So if I can't get it to run properly soon I'll have to put the Factory ECU and sensors back in and go from there.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the replies!
The bike is better since I played around on the weekend. I took a bit more notice on the way home from work today and the jerky light load cruising seems to be on a slightly trailing throttle. I have yet to take note of other things like no load revs at say 1800 and see if it holds steady. The idle seemed better today. I let it warm up each time before I ride so maybe it has tuned itself a bit more. When I got home tonight the hot idle seemed fairly good too. I have S&S slip ons and an Arlen Ness Stage 1 air filter.
(It's annoying that every time I want to hook up the computer I have to unbolt the seat to plug in the cable. They could have put a side entry port so the cable could be left plugged in.)
I also have tried setting the decel fuel cut to stop the popping but that does not seem to be consistent, so I am trying adjusting the post fuel enrichment to see if that'll help reduce the popping. I have got up to 18.82% and although the popping is still there, it is nothing compared to the Factory ECU. It's probably more of a burble. Or should I not be touching this setting for this issue.
I will save my file, and load in number 525 which is the one that stix68 used on Bobtail's bike, unles you have a better idea.

    Thanks,
    Roger.

Rode to work this morning and there is no prob with cruising even at 60k's in 4th gear.
I did wind the throttle up (hot motor) with no load, at a guess to between 1600 and 1800 rpm, and it doesn't hold steady.
The hard thing about playing around at home is that the engine gets increasingly hotter, making it hard to make adjustments. I'll have to set up a fan! Maybe there is something obviously wrong in this map to the trained eye. In general though this map seems to run fairly well, giving me good power, even after I have made adjustments to give me good cruising economy.

By changing the AFR vs throttle angle. Without having the maps in front of me to be exact, I changed the maps so that cruising AFR's were closer to 14:5 down to 14:1 instead of 13.5:1 up to around 2,800 rpm and I think to around 25 degrees throttle.
