Brembo have always made good brakes.
i think only thing you need to worry about is to check your disc rottor same diamiter or larger & that your master cylinder has same bore size.
but to me best brakes of all time are on the front of late model Buell's think 6 piston PM but that big rottor helps a lot
another important thing to think about is your bikes weight & your weight as if you just put brakes off a light bike onto a heavy bike they still won't work any better. like trying to pull up a truck with a big load on. just thought i'd point this out.
Mate, your '08 has a Brembo 4 piston caliper as standard ! The brakes were "Improved" from 2007 with a different caliper and braided hose as stock fitment. My 2008 Custom has the best (stock) brakes I've seen on a big twin Harley to date. What I'm saying is you may do all the research on V-Rod brakes and work and still have no better results. Remember they are lighter than your fatty AND they have 2 discs and calipers !
I didn't read ya shit I've known that one for decades.
Says you joined in 2012 as well,so who the fuck are ya "cut and paste man"lolz.
Kinda "cut and paste" to paraphrase "Badcooky" as he sees it !
The sticky " Bleeding brakes" is at least 2 years + old FFsake...
And for what it's worth " I really know my shit " , view my other informative posts.
John Wilkes Booth assasinated Abraham Lincoln, is this now a trivial pursuit thread or what ?
As previously posted by me, 2008 and up calipers work well on Harleys. You would only change the brakes for looks or "custom" reasons.
The older EVO's had "Ayatollah Khomeni " brakes , ie " Sh-ite " , and brake upgrades were normal fare back then.
