If you do a search in the forum I think you will find a mixture of good and bad stories about Frasers. I think it is a personal thing as I have had dealings with them over the years and they have been fine whilst close friends of mine would never go back.

As you are buying the bike off them make sure you go hard with the deal ie lots of extras, lowest price. It is really a buyers market out there and when I bought my VROD (now sold) a couple of years ago I threw what I thought was a low figure on the table and they agreed to it. Good Luck

I bought a new bike in 06 off them, me and my mate got $500 each off on a two bike deal. bought heaps of extras which were all fitted for free.
They were ringing me for up to a year later to see if all was well with the bike. Also bought ongoing parts off them which were always cheaper then down home and they always sent them promptly with no fee for postage. No complaints here

I suggest you go to all the main dealers in Sydney.

Blacktown Harley, Frasers@ Homebush, Trivett @ Alexandria & Sys @ Liverpool.

Speak to the sales manager, tell them what you exactly want.

Once discussed ask them to write down on the back of their business card the price of the bike you want.

Go to each dealer and do exactly the same.

Once you have visited each Dealer sit down at your puter and send a seperate email to each sales person stating the names of the dealer / sales person and request a further quote to see which one does the the best price.

I did my purchase that way back in November 09.  I also received a better deal in the end.

    Good Luck......................

All dealers are different and some will give more than others, Don't accept the first dealers prices, be prepared to shop around and don't be affraid to compare prices in front of the salesman, it keeps him slightly more honest.

If you have already done the deal, then your fooked but if you haven't......

Try to get as much as you can!  At least pipes ana tuna ana cleana. Don't show them how excited you are, the more dead pan you are the more they may offer you to get the deal. specially if your going finance, they loooove finance deals betta than cash.$$$.

Finally, get them to agree to 10% off all future parts purchases and get them to write it on the special conditions part F of the dealer form. Tell them you plan to add heaps of accessories to your new ride and you will buy soley off them (even if you don't plan to). It boosts your chances of a win. The salesman puts plenty of energy trying to stitch you up so do your homework and don't be affraid to give them some curry back!

P.S. (I only know this cause i was in the industry for 4 years.) Secret Squirrel.

    GOOD LUCK!

PS I'm currently waiting on my 6th bike from frasers so I'm not biased.
