Custom patches. Fantastic job and service from Harleyria

Just had some complicated patches made by this girl Ria in QLD. Supplied images of how they would look (one was a bigger back patch) then had them done and delivered almost instantly. Does one-offs no worries and at around $8 a small custom patch about the pirce of mass produced ones. Really recommend this: www.harleyria.com/

BTW  the patches relate to family members who served in the army and air force including my father, and my uncle who was killed in bomber command in 1943 so I see the vest as a bit of a family heirloom so I wanted a really good job done stitching them on. Took them to an expensive tailor and told him I was confident he could do a top job because a) he is very skilled and b) if he wrecked it I was going to kill him. When I picked it up he had done a brilliant job and...no charge! Said he could see how much it meant to me. Some great people in the world.

Sorry to post like this but on iPad and it's not getting on well with photo bucket. The first one below is the back patch, a bit brighter than I expected - I should have settled for black and white or used duller colours but it was my call not the maker. I reckon at least this is now the next best thing to a flouro vest  :) the other patches further below relate to my fathers battalion and my uncles squadron. He was killed on his seventh raid over Germany, hence the six bombs then the cross. Ria will creat anything you describe then send an image for approval before making it.

Good luck with the new business.

Try again! (The patches are straight - it's just the way the vest is lying), I'm turnng the vest into a bit of a family heirloom. I also bought two standard patches from her - the usual; "Fay Boy" and "Never ride faster than your angel can fly".

This is importnat to me so it was a real win to find someone good who was happy to make one-offs.

The first patches  relate to my late fathers battalion, and my uncles squadron. He was killed on his seventh raid over Germany, hence the six bombs then the cross. Ria will creat anything you describe then send an image for approval before making it.

The bottom one is the back patch, a bit brighter than I expected - I should have settled for black and white or used duller colours but it was my call not the maker. I reckon at least this is now the next best thing to a flouro vest  :)

    Her website looks good

The large will dull out over time.

    The blue looks good.

Goodonya for haveing the insight to wear and make something that is personalized.

My great uncle fell at Shell Cove and was in the 6th light horse out of Wagga.

Maybe a 6th lighthorse insignia on the grey paint for my rebuild might be my thing..

    Tis taffy.
Fell on the 3rd August 1915.Serial 253 in the army
More than likely from a sniper or wounds gained before that date.
Big push on the 6th that took a lot of Aussies lives..
Hell on earth has to be an understatement..
