    G'day all,

Just joined and just bought my first ride. 2012 Sportster xl1200 custom, I am in the process now of installing new exhaust and airfilter. My question is what is the general feeling for which tuner to use? Help!!

Thx gents, looks like its 50/50 out there. I guess I'll check everything on internet and decide from there. Maybe the TTS, will harley service snub me if I go that way?

Top three tuners ATM seem to be the TTS, sepst and Power vision for stock bikes and for those that have intentions of bigger and better engines etc. There are some "plug and play" devices like the Doebek and Big Joes that will do well for just air and pipe changes.

TTS has a couple more features than the others and all have some features that the home tuners wont use. The TTS is a better unit than it was now that it has taken a leef from the sepst and can data log with out a laptop (shame this cant be added to the units most of us have already purchased). Power vision is only fairly new and had a few bugs that apparently have been sorted and from reports is a good devise as well. Still a close call on the three depending on how far you are willing to go.

M&M don't sell the SEPST anymore and haven't since Harley stopped em selling HD stuff, when was that?.........6 months ago??

Cheapest I could find at the time I bought mine (last November) was $524 delivered from Maui HD Hawaii....compared to around $700 locally!

That included all the "SHIT" you need for a 2012 Dyna..

    Burto.

TTS for me, i am still learning to use it but it gives you a lot of flexibility with modifications

I am not knocking any other brands because i have not used them but TTS floats my boat

Cheers mate, Im not doing any engine mods, just air filter and exhaust. Thanks for the heads up, I was under the impression that I needed to get a tuner SEPST, TTS, no matter what mod I put on the bike.

    Cheers again
