FAULT CODE b1154

This code b1154 is a clutch coast nuisance fault. The TSSM will detect a clutch engagement for more than 10 seconds like coasting down a hill with the clutch engaged. There is a micro switch in the clutch handle housing that detects this.
I don't know what Harley Davidson were thinking when they introduce this fault code.
I was taught if the lights were to change to red and I was at the front, to leave the bike in 1st gear with the clutch pulled in, incase the vehicle behind couldn't stop, so that you could attempt to get out of the way.
Am I wrong in this thinking, or has there been a updated procedure?

My diagnostic manual says if bike is coasted at more then 10 MPH or 16 KPH with the clutch pulled while in gear for more then 60 seconds fault code b1154 will be thrown. Says nothing about sitting at a set of lights with the clutch pulled in.

That's a long time rolling with the clutch pulled in 1 minute.
Are you sure on that one?

Unless the factory diagnostic manual got it wrong Im sure. The code can be thrown for other faults but your question was regarding idling at tragic lights. Best to clear the code and see if it comes back next time you ride the bike.
