Cruise Pegs for Floor Boards

i have a 2011 Fatboy and have a few long rides coming up. Was thinking about putting some cruise pegs which mount on the floorbords. Has anyone got any experience with them. My main concern is losing ground clearance as I do scrape on tight corners now. I prefer the floor boards and do not want to put a highway bar on the bike.

Fitted the Kuryakyn flip boards today and went for a short ride. Found them to be good and will be great on the long rides planned this year. May still play around with the postion as there are holes allowing moving forward, back and out 3/4 inch.  Got the matching bake pedal pad and gear stick as well.  Vwery easy to open of close the pegs while riding. Ground clearance seems much the same, except of course if the pegs are out. Recommend if you have a few long rides coming up.

I have a set about to arrive....just curious, in your picture which mounting holes have you used. Are they FWD STD or Back? just trying to get a feel on the peg location and how far fwd I can get it.

well mine arrived and were fitted as far forward as I could. i also chose to mount them out 3/4 inch. Took bike for a ride on Weekend about 500km round trip. Big improvement. Normally get very tired inside thigh muscles from trying to hold legs in against the wind but none of that anymore. Very easy to use and comfortable riding position. Thumbs up from me.

I used the standard mounting holes, but did think about putting them forward a bit. Might see how they go.
