Hi, I bought my first harley a few months back, it is a 1971 harley shovel head, it has been butchered with a 6 degree rack but i like it. I know bugger all about bikes, just wanted one before they put me in a nursing home, ha ha,,,,,,, ok, i have a problem with my bike, i am getting to old too kick start it, it is starting to do my knee in, i have a 3 inch outer primary belt and have been told i cant fit a elecric start to this bike unless i change the gear box, i either have to sell it as i cant start it any more, or spend the money to do the change over, anyone got any ideas, thanks and have a great day riding
yes, i know u are both right, but i am yet too except my mistake, it is no good sitting in the shed on a sunny sunday just cause i cant start it,
