Mate once you get your head around things the TTS is the way to go. Having said that, I am still learning things with the TTS. But you will have plenty of help here, a lot of us use the TTS.

Don't worry you made the right decision buying the TTS Mastertune. The bike will run very smooth and responsive with a canned map and even better with a few Vtunes. AJ56 nailed it with plenty of TTS owners willing to help you get the best tune and if that fails Steve Cole the owner of TTS is only a PM away on this forum for his tech support.

    Hi Fatgb,

As a relative new guy to the modern fuel injected systems myself may I offer some small advice regarding the TTS when you are starting out.

    1. The first action you must take is to read, read and read the instructions until you have a good command of what is required, you will save an enormous amount of time by not having to do things twice or even three times. The whole process when starting out is very time consuming, but also as your knowledge increases also very rewarding as you will see/feel/hear the benefits.

    2. The next bit of advice that I can offer is to have a good understanding of the cal file and data file save regime that TTS employs, you can employ your own system if you have a good handle on it all but it is important to understand the filing process before you start with the V-tune side of things, I myself had to work the grey matter hard at this.

    3. Scour the previous threads regarding all matters TTS as most of the concerns have been addressed and there is a very knowledgeable core group of members who are very helpful.

    4. If you are relatively new to matters concerning EFI and hence computer related software, patience is a virtue to coin an old phase.

All the best and good luck, Paul

You will find that once you have installed the base map closest to your application that the bike will run a lot better than it did. A lot of fellas load the base map and leave it at that.

I, and most others that have the TTS would recommenned at least three or four v-tunes to dial it in a bit closer and you should be right to go. If you feel confident after this then it is up to you how much closer you want to get the map with the VE's and timing etc. As has been said, plenty of help on here you just need to put in the time.
