Just turned over 20,000k on my 1200c, up to Sydney & back, boring ride I know.

Bought it at 1,900kms so I've had a good run. I had to put a new belt on it at about 3,000kms but I reckon that was cos it had been sitting in a shed for 4yrs unridden & the belt may have got a bit shaped to the sprockets. 

Anyhow apart from that, regular services a set of tyres it has been robust & fun heres to a nother 20,000kms, perhaps there's a trip around the Prince's highway on year, apparently it takes less than a month if you keep riding!!

Well done Im at 58000 km on my 2009 XR1200 it's killed one starter motor , a headlight globe and about 10 tyres (recently switch to Michelins theyre heaps better ) I was pissed off when the starter went but now Im past where my last Jap bike ate a Crank so its turned out a better thing
and its a piece of piss to work on

Just get  out there and enjoy the ride
