Dealer contract??

    Hi People

    I heva a mate who ordered a dyna back in start of dec/11 bike was supposed to be here in mid feb march then mid march now mid to end april. On the back of the contract it states  a dealer has to deliver within 3 months if no date is put on contract, and in the purchasers right's to terminate they word it if a dealer has breached any of the obligations imposed on dealer by this contract? well its way past 3mths. so my mate decided fukit ill canel the contract via email so there is wreckord of it and said any problem let him know but as per normal he never heres from the shop and he takes it well if they ain't replied then they mustn't be worried. Anyone done this before? He asked many times to source from other dealers even a demo but they just came back bike is sold blah blah. Bikes are still forsale.

    Methinks that if a purchaser and a dealer are on good terms, as they must have been when entering into the contract, then a reasonable resolution can be achieved. But... if the thing goes sour... the fine print takes over...
