same for me dude, this doesnt answer your question but ,i went to 103, with 211s at the same time, nice lummpy idle

get a few more revs up and it pulls like a train,

a bit more tourque a little lower in the revs was what i was expecting.

    but happy with ...86hp....100ftp

If the bike is under warranty the 204 would be my pick if your dealer lets it through with warranty. The Andrews 48 in your 96 cube would be my pick for a low to mid grunter.

@hilly I have only seen 254 good on paper too no review from ne one yet
@jocky so you reckon 211 do not go with 103 for 0- next traffic light power….as this is one of the option to have 103 upgrade first and then cams
@robo just went to hd blacktown and told that 254 suits 96 better as 211 suits 103… lol and it was from this lady on the counter.. as their workshop closed
@chriso may look into 255 after 103 upgrade
confused a hell may be better to go 103 upgrade n later go stg IV i guess

hey punjabi, dont get me wrong ,with myset up , ifyou want to do atraffic light drag race, trust me it pulls like a 14 year old "real hard' all the

    way through the revs.

BTW how true is this …from SE webpage
    SE 254E
This cam provides great low-end torque along with good midrange. A good “all-around” cam, the Se-254e is a good match for a Dyna, Softail or light touring bike - road King®, Street Glide® or road Glide® Custom - when the aggressive rider desires a little more top-end horsepower. In a 0-60 sprint or 1/4 mile drag race, the Se-254e-equipped model would pull ahead of an identi- cal model with a Se-255 cam.T

Thts some great numbers Quack. Your fatcat must have played a big role in getting those no. too.
There is so much info out there that it gets confusing.
So I am leaning towards se stage III which will cost me around 2k fitted.(I like 259e cams)
Gotta wait till end of this year.
Haven't got fun out of stage 1 yet. Just due for first service.

I have a mate with 254E's in his dyna 96 pulls really well, pushes wind up my worked 95 have him covered everywhere at the moment, and mine has a shit load of top end. He has a 2010 model Stage 1 breather and a tune, and Vance and Hines short shots, goes really well and impresses me. He loves how they pull

Im thinking of going with a SE 211 cam for my 2012 fatbob 103, with hypocharger A/c, V&H big radius pips.

I have a cobra powerpro plug & play tuner, I my lose a Hp or two, but will be interesting to see how It runs with a auto tuner,

was told by a local HD mech, its half the battle is getting it to run right with a SE tuner

Dyno Run stage 1 with cobra is 74.51HP/ 93.29Torq ( dealer never seen a Cobra tuner before so they gave it a free dyno run)

I also noticed the SE 211 cam isnt in the HD 2012 Geuine motor parts book, the SE 204 is.

Thanks you guys have helped me make up my mind which cam to go with, the SE 211 sounds like the right choice with a 103 motor without head work.
