I have been looking at a lighting upgrade for my Street Glide, could not come to grips with the cost of the LED headlight.

Anyway got onto the old threads about HID, went on Ebay and found a kit motorcycle specific which cost a whole $35 AUD, fitted it tonight need to ad a little bit of length to the wires to battery, but otherwise took 45 min. Bought the 6000K nice white light.

Best light I have ever had on a bike. Will see how long it lasts?

Thanks for the link bro. The only problem I can see is the headlight must be off before the bike is started so a headlight switch would be needed on late model bikes.
I try and find some HID H3's for my passing lamps now.
    Cheers

Fitted a complete HID lighting system, from http://hidlighting.com.au/ had to extend some wiring, you HAVE TO use double insulated silicon wire other wise it WILL arc/short out. Bloody brilliant light.
