Personally track riding isn't for me.

Competiveness I mean. But long and flat and woosh is the shit.

No way can even the average rider slot in to a race and do it any crotch rider knows that.!!!!

 

IMO do the salt and do it by yourself...

I did some road racing for about 4 years 15 years ago and I reckon its the ebst way to hone your skills. I also found that whenI was racing I rode more sedately on the road and got my fix on the track.
Never really been into ride days, you get too many knobs who think they are Casey Stoner! (or back then Mick Doohan!)

A buddy done a ride day at the island on the 600cc bikes
He went with a crew and one of them dropped it and it cost him 2k,that's the excess for the insurance even if the damage was only a mirror.."$2000"

Never been a racer on the bike myself.
I had a RD 350 that I swapped for a pup 1960 BSA because the beeza was more my speed.lol
